Goal:

Centered on China`s strategic goals to have carbon dioxide emissions peak before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060, the low-carbon, green and sustainable concepts should be integrated into community construction for the transformation of energy use, a low-carbon society, and green and healthy living environment.

Participation Requirements:
1. Professionals from institutes of architectural design, colleges and universities, research institutions and green building product development and manufacturing enterprises are welcomed to take part in the competition in the form of competition groups.
2. Please visit www.isbdc.cn. You may fill in the registry according to the instruction and gain an ID of your work after submitting the registry. That’s the number of your work, and one work only has one ID. The number should be indicated in the top left corner of each submitted work with word height of 6mm. Registration time: March 30, 2021 - July 30, 2021.
3. Participants must agree that the Organizing Committee may publish, print, exhibit and apply their works in public.
4. The authors whose works are edited into the publication should cooperate with the Organizing Committee to adjust their works according to the requirements of press.
Important Consideration:
1. Participant’s digital file and report on works’ design method must be uploaded to the Organizing Committee’s FTP site (www.isbdc.cn) before September 15, 2021. Other ways will not be accepted.
2. Any mark, sign or name related to participant’s identity should not appear in, on or included within the submitted files, otherwise the submission will be deemed invalid.
3. The Organizing Committee will publicize the process and result of the appraisal online in a timely manner, compile and publish the awarded works. The winners will be honored and awarded.
4. In 30 days after the collection of works being published, two books of award works will be freely presented by the Organizing Committee to the competition teams who are awarded.
5. The information concerning the competition as well as explanation about all activities may be checked and inquired on the website of the competition.
 
Announcement about Ownership and Copyright:
Before submitting the works, participants should carefully read following clauses, fully understand and agree with them.
According to relevant national laws and regulations, it is confirmed by the competition hosts that all “participants” or “authors” who have submitted their works on their own initiative have received following irrevocable announcement concerning the ownership and copyright of their works submitted:
1. Announcement of originality
The entry work of the participant is original, which does not infringe any patent, copyright, trademark and other intellectual property; it has not been published in any newspapers, periodicals, magazines, webs or other media, has not been applied for any patent or copyright, not been involved in any other competition, and not been put in any commercial channels. The participant should assure that the work has not been put in any other competition by the same work form in its whole life or legally transferred to others, otherwise, the competition hosts will cancel the qualification of participation, being shortlisted and being awarded of the participant, call back the prize and award and reserve the right of legal liability. 
2. The ownership of intellectual property of the works
In order to promote competition results, the participants should relinquish copyright of all works to competition organizers and titled sponsors except authorship. It includes but is not limited to the exercise of copyright as follows: benefit from the right of the works on redesigning, production, selling, exhibition, publishing and publicity; benefit from the right of the works on construction for self use or accrediting to others for use. Hosts of the competition have such rights to display and publicize all the works. Without accreditation, any organizations and individuals (including authors themselves) cannot transfer, copy, reprint, promulgate, extract and edit, publish and admit others to use the works by any way. Participants have to agree that competition organizers and titled sponsors will sign the name of authors when their works are used and the works will be treated for technical processing according to the requirements of publication and construction. All works are not returned to the author.
3. All authors must take responsibility for their copyrights of the works including all disputes of copyright caused by the works.
Announcement:
1. It implies that everybody who has attended the competition activities including participants, jury members and members of the Organizing Committee has accepted all requirements mentioned above.
2. All participants must accept the appraisal of the jury as the final result of the competition.
3. The Organizing Committee reserves final rights to interpret the competition activities.
4. In order to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the participants, the organizers ask participants to fully pay attention to all clauses in this document, especially the Announcement about Ownership and Copyright.
